« I have been running my business under the name “Basia Sweets” since 2018 and in the beginning I did everything by hand. The themes kept coming, and not only did I have to bake the cookies, but I also had to glaze, decorate with flowers and other icing elements, and on top of that, with a brush and black dye, write ‘Holy Baptism’ over and over again, add eyes or other very small and precise elements. I was in urgent need of help with the lettering, as such precise work took me the longest to complete and was fraught with shortcomings. I initially came across a company called JetLt. Unfortunately, the equipment arrived damaged. The company I bought it from refused to service it, so I ended up complaining and returning the printer. I had seen the IMAGO ‘Falco’ printer before, but it seemed like a huge piece of equipment in my home environment – I thought the printer would take up half a room. However, a conversation with a company representative made the decision to invest. With the purchase of the ‘Falco’, I was able to completely change the way I thought about growing my business. The printer not only exceeded my expectations, but opened up a field of new possibilities for me. Here, I will point out that it did not change the profile of my business in terms of the technique of making cookies, I did not give up creating personalised iced cookies in favour of printing – but I started using printing as an additional element to ‘complete’ the decoration. My cookies have been appreciated by very well-known companies such as Orlen, PGE, by administrative bodies such as the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Saudi Arabian Embassy. «
